A Big Loss

Whenever he leaves the class for his coffee break, he'll turn at me and say "I'll be back, Nabihah. Don't panic okay? I put Billy in charge but just don't panic okay?"

Whenever I complain on how hard the questions are, all he would tell me is "Try harder lah!" or even "FEMALES"

Whenever time's up after a long long class he'll always say "Time flies when we're having fun, huh"

Whenever he's giving us free blocks or we get to leave early he'll go "Since I'm such a very generous fellow.."

Whenever we meet again since I have two classes with him everyday, both of us will always use "You again!" to each other.

Whenever I complain about his ugly handwritings, he'll tell me "I think you need a new spectacles, Nabihah. Here, borrow mine"

Just the other day I was 'deducted' 5 marks from my upcoming test because I said "You'd never change would you, sir?" Hahahah.

But now it's all different. Mr Highton is no longer with us and my heart breaks for he was a great teacher. The classes I had with him, the walks I walk with him, the arguments I argue with him, the jokes we make to each other. Memories remain for you will always be remembered.

I'm just gonna take this as another one of your long coffee breaks. And again, I promise that I won't panic, Sir.

Rest in peace, Mr Highton.
